This listing is for a pair of wonderful vintage French Travel Posters promoting l'Alpe d'Huez resort. The posters come from the archives of a long time collector who lived in Switzerland for many years. These are original posters, not reproductions. The larger one (circa 1975) is a humorous poster that says ''Justin vous tend la perche" which translates to "Justin hands you perch". It measures 23 1/2" x 35 3/4" inches and is in good overall condition with minor creasing and edge wear, mainly in the lower left corner. The smaller poster shows photographs of the resort in both summer and winter. It measures 14" x 23 1/2" inches and is in very good to excellent condition. L'Alpe d'Huez is a ski resort at 1,250 to 3,330 metres. It is a mountain pasture in the Central French Alps, in the commune of Huez, which is part of the department of Isere in the region of Rhone-Alpes.
