Rare 1979 Kramer DMZ4000 Aluminum Neck Electric Bass Custom EMG Active Pickups

This listing is for a rare customized 1979 Kramer DMZ4000 Electric Bass. It has the natural maple body and classic aluminum neck and headstock. The serial number is 03155. The bass has been customized with an EMG-PJ active pickup set. An extra slot was made for the single EMG-L pickup, and an extra volume knob was added between the original volume and tone knobs. The frets were also removed, so it's now super fun to play if you like fretless. We plugged it in for a brief test and it seems to work properly. The bass is in very good overall condition with some minor dings and scratches. The pots are a little scratchy. There is a small crack on each side where the neck meets the body. One of the tuners looks like it was replaced with a newer Grover, and one of the others is slightly bent. It comes in a hardshell case that has heavy wear and is missing one of the buckles.
