This listing is for a rare vintage Farm Security Administration Photograph. It was taken in 1937 by Dorothea Lange in Leland, Mississippi, and shows the front of the Rex Theatre For Colored People. The photo itself measures 7.25"x7.5" inches and was printed directly from the Library of Congress negative. It was purchased in the early 1960s from the Library of Congress. The photo is in excellent condition and has been framed since purchase. It is mounted to the backing paper. The frame measures 11.5"x14.5" inches and has some minor scuffs and scratches.
