Vtg 1985 Suzanne LeGault Summer Stock Signed Numbered 17/40 Vermont Screen Print

This listing is for a rare vintage screen print by Vermont artist Suzanne LeGault, perhaps best known as the artist who designed Vermont's conservation-themed license plate. This print is titled "Summer Stock" and depicts dairy cows lazing in a pastel Vermont pasture. The print is signed and numbered and in excellent condition overall. The frame has some scuffs and minor wear and the backing paper has some tears. If requested by the winning bidder, the print may be removed from the frame and shipped without it for a reduced cost. "Suzanne received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before moving to Vermont in 1980. She has worked as an illustrator and printmaker since that time. Although she enjoys drawing and painting, screen printing is her preferred medium. She interprets the world around her by breaking it down into defined shapes of color, pattern and texture. Suzanne draws her inspiration from Vermont's natural beauty, using bold, saturated colors and oftentimes pairs different views and perspectives within the same piece."
