7 Vintage 1960s Billy Morrow Jackson Political Protest Civil Rights Art Prints
This listing is for a very rare collection of 7 original signed Billy Morrow Jackson political protest prints. Based on our research, these pen and ink drawings were made in 1964 in response to the Birmingham, Alabama church bombing in 1963 and the killing of several civil rights workers in Mississippi in 1964. Each one is hand titled and signed by the artist. The posters were sold as a fundraising project for civil rights organizations. Each one measures 22.5" x 29" inches and is printed on heavy paper stock. They are in very good overall condition with some minor creasing and yellowing. They have never been framed or displayed. Please see the list and photos below, and contact us with any questions. We have a very reasonable opening bid, so don't miss your chance to add these to your collection.
