This listing is for a vintage H.L. Leonard "Rangely 1" two-piece 7-1/2" #5 weight fiberglass fly rod. Based on our research, it was made some time between the 1960s and 1980s. The rod is in good condition overall with some scuffs and wear from use. The case shows more wear and the label is detached. Here's some info we found on an online forum about these rods:
"H.L. Leonard made glass rods from the mid 60s until they closed in 1985. Many of the rods were made on Phillipson blanks or JK Fisher blanks."
