1946 Ludwig & Ludwig Mahogany Shell Marching Parade Snare Drum Oval Brass Badge
This listing is for a vintage/antique marching drum by Ludwig & Ludwig. It has an oval brass badge, the number #4601 is stamped inside, meaning this drum was made in 1946, and the shell appears to be mahogany. It has a newer Evans G Plus head on top and a Ludwig head on the bottom. There are two stickers on the side from the Vermont Music Festivals in 1946 and 1947. The drum appears to be in good condition overall with some wear from use. There is a dent/ding in the batter head (top) rim, and one tension rod is missing.
