Edgar Degas Loges d'Atrices Etching Aquatint Impression From Cancelled Plate NR!
This listing is for an antique etching of the work Loges d'Atrices by French artist Edgar Degas (1834-1917). Based on our research and the information on the back, the work is an etching and aquatint impression from the cancelled plate on wove paper circa 1875-1880. It's nicely double-matted and framed and appears to be in very good condition. The matting has some minor yellowing from age, and the frame has scuffs and wear from handling and storage. The backing is cardboard with tape around it, the informational card taped to the back, and some writing next to that. Please see the photos below to see everything that is included, and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
