Vtg Pulsar P3 Time Computer 14k Gold Filled Red LCD Digital Watch + Magnet As-Is
This listing is for a vintage 1970s Pulsar Time Computer with 14k gold filled case. Based on our research, this is the model P3 Date/Command, and the serial number is 276513. The watch has a brand new battery. The right side button displays the time and seconds. The left side displays the date, but we can only get it to work sometimes. It also seems to be missing at least one segment in the LCD date display. The watch is in good cosmetic condition with some scuffs and light scratches. It includes the time-setting magnet in the band. Please see the photos below to see everything that is included, and contact us with any questions before bidding. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price so don't miss your chance to win!
From liveauctioneers.com:
"42mm case diameter. The 'P3' is the first LED watch that used a date function. It was launched in 1973 and was the longest produced model from Pulsar, still available in late 1975."
From justcollecting.com:
"Collectors who purchase vintage Pulsar watches and intend to use them should also be aware that the batteries originally used (#355) are no longer produced. Modern 357 cells with spacers work well for the P1, P2, and P3 models. All later models use cells that are still made and easily available. Precautions to avoid subjecting the electronics to static charges should always be taken when changing batteries."
