This listing is for a wonderful 'Shadow Light' hanging light fixture and lamp shade. This piece was designed by Tord Boontje in 2003 and was made by Artecnica. It is made of metal rods and colored acetate panels with printed designs of animals and plants. The bulb throws shadows on the walls, thus the 'Shadow Light' name. The fixture is in good used condition. It is missing one of the small red plastic clips. The acetate panels have some scuffs and scratches. The round metal fixture box has some tape residue on the outside. The light was in good working condition when last used. It needs to be hard wired or have a plug attached, so we were unable to test it. Please see the detailed photos below and contact us with any questions before bidding. The lamp will come partially disassembled as shown. The photos showing the lamp lit up are stock photos found online. We have a low opening bid and no reserve price, so don't miss your chance to get a great deal.
A magical carousel of colour, light and dreamlike imagery. The light brings the walls alive projecting soft and delicate shadowed images onto them, creating a serene and mesmerising effect. The lamp is constructed of simple materials and yet, through their combination, they become something very special.
