RARE Vtg WWII WW2 US Army Military M1 MSA 23 Unpainted Fiberglass Helmet Liner

This listing is for an original WWII US Army M1 Fiberglass Helmet Liner. It is marked 'MSA 23' on the inside for the Mine Safety Appliances Corp. The liner is unpainted; most of them were painted OD green. It's in very good condition with no cracks, chips, or dings on the edges, so may have never been used. The herringbone fabric on the inside is in excellent condition. The leather headband is cracked from age. The chinstrap is missing, but the fasteners are still attached and the buckle is included.
