RARE 1943 WWII German Panzer Tiger I Tank 88mm Flak-41 Artillery Shell NR
This listing is for a rare German 88mm Flak 41 artillery shell casing from WWII. The Germans used these shells on their Panzerkampfewagon VI heavy tanks, infamously known as the Tiger I. These artillery rounds were made for both anti-tank and anti-artillery use. Any allied force bold enough to get close enough to penetrate the Tiger I's nearly bulletproof hull had to come within firing distance of one of these shells to do so. While the 88mm calibar rounds were made as early back as the 1930s for generic artillery guns, this particular shell casing is date stamped 43, which means it saw its use on of Germany's infamous heavy tanks.
The shell is in very good condition, with wear and marks from use. All indented marks on the base plate are legible, including the German Third Reich eagle symbol.
