This listing is for a Rare WWI Lee-Enfield British Military Rifle. It is marked 'GR 1917 SHT LE III*' along with amny other marks shown in close-up photos. This rifle was issued to our client's grandfather, a Scottish soldier by the name of Roderick MacGregor from Glasgow. MacGregor fought for the British during WWI. It measures about 43.5" inches long with a 25" barrel. The rifle has been deactivated and the barrel end has been welded closed.
