1855 John Andrew Hand-Colored New Hampshire NH Abenaki Fishing Lithograph Print

This listing is for a very rare 1855 hand-colored New Hampshire lithograph by John Andrew. Originally debued in Ballou's Pictorial Magazine, this beautful print shows an Abenaki pair on the left spear-fishing, and a man on the right fly-fishing, both on Weirs Channel. Behind the Abenaki pair is a waterfall, originally there before white-settlement, before a millers dam (behind the man on the right) was installed. In the middle is a seal that says "In Truth Is Our Trust, In Union Our Strength". It measures about 7" tall, 10" wide and is well preserved and matted in a 12.5"x16.75" wooden frame.
