RARE Bilston Battersea Halcyon Day Je t'aime I Love You Today Enamel Trinket Box

This listing is for a vintage Halcyon Days Trinket Box. It is being sold by the original owner and is in mint condition. This enamel box has a gorgous design and reads "Je t'aime - aujourd 'hui plus qu'hier mais moins que demain" on the lid. The quote is based on a poem from the French poet and playwright, Rosamonde Gerard, which roughly translated to English means "I love you today, more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow." It is one of the early enamel boxes produced by Halcyon Days which bears the oval Bilston & Battersea mark of the 1970s. The box is in mint condition and comes with its original presentation box with the Bilston & Battersea Enamels pamphlet. The box measures 2" long and 1.75" wide and comes from a smoke-free home.
