The Mongolia pattern is a dodecagon, a 12 sided polygon, and features a gold trimmed floral border with a center basket.
Excellent Condition, with very few minor utensil marks.

While these are the Mongolia pattern, they will match your Montreux set. On these, there is no verge line and the handpainted flowers extend past where the verge line is on a Montreux pattern piece.
Haviland & Co. is a manufacturer of fine porcelain in Limoges, France. Begun by the American Haviland Family in the 1840s, they have remained some of the most well known importers of porcelain to the US market. The company saw their height in the late 19th to early 20th Century, which is about when this pattern was produced.
