This listing is for an elegant, handpainted antique set of 10 porcelain luncheon plates produced by C.F. Boseck & Co in Austria during the late 19th century, now modern day Bohemia in the Czech Republic. The pattern features a beautiful gold paint trim, accompanied by a flourishing floral blossom array across the whole top surface of each dish.
CF Boseck & Co is represented by the winged crown mark with the cross above it. They used this specific mark from 1892-1934. The set was imported to New York during the turn of the century by the Ovington Brothers, the mark on which this set has was only used before 1920, when the brand changed. Each plate measures about 1" tall, 9" wide and is made from porcelain. The set is in very good condition, with minor utensil marks.
