ORIGINAL 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1 Bred Black Red Chicago Bulls BANNED OG MJ AJI NR
ORIGINAL 1985 Nike Air Jordan 1 Bred Black Red Chicago Bulls BANNED (No Reserve auction, these will sell to the highest bidder!)
These are used, scroll through all of the photos, we took 16 total.
I believe they are size 10, but the size printed inside is almost completely worn off.
They are 11.75" inches long.
They are called the AJ1 "Bred", for Black & Red, and also known as the "Banned" sneakers.
Some collectors say these were the basketball sneakers that started the collecting craze, designed in 1984 by Peter Moore, and commercially released in 1985. The story says that David Stern banned these sneakers and would fine Jordan $5000 everytime he wore this color pattern as it did not conform to the NBA league regulations. Thankfully, Nike was picking up the tab for all the league fines Michael was racking up.
This colorway pattern went nuts when Jordan wore them for the 1985 Slam Dunk contest.
Please see the photos below as this is the exact pair of basketball shoes you will receive when you win!
