ORIGINAL Emerson & Silver M1860 1862 CIVIL WAR US Cavalry Saber Sword JM 1865 NR (NO RESERVE, this sword will sell to the highest bidder!)
Excellent Condition, everything is tight with no movement, the leather gasket around the base of the blade has started to come off. You can see a couple of spots where the blade has some corrossion starting, I did take a photo, and it does have a couple of very small nicks on the blade edge.
35" by 1" inch blade with the over all length of 41" inches.
One side of the blade is marked "Emerson & Silver Trenton NJ", it is partially worn.
The other side of the blade is marked "US JM 1865".
We do not have the scabbard.
