Antique WWI Imperial German Prussian Model 1889 Infantry Officer Degen Sword WKC NR (NO RESERVE, this sword will sell to the highest bidder!)
Excellent Condition, everything is tight with no movement. It is complete with the scabbard.
Model 1889 made by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie in Solingen, Germany.
31.75" inches long by 1" inch wide fullered blade with the over all length of 38" inches.
One side of the blade is marked with a couple of symbols, the king's head and the knight's helmet, and "W. K. & C", it is partially worn.
The guard has the Prussian Eagle with the roman numeral II on it's chest and the grip has the royal cypher of Kaiser Willhelm II.
The sword does has the leather finger loop, the Fingerschlauf, it is still intact.
The scabbard is 32.75" inches long and is marked with an "H" and "2".
